2020 New Player Lottery Registration
HPBA will administer a lottery system for the registration of new players and those returning players who did not secure an open spot during the Returning Player Registration. The lottery process is in lieu of waiting in line overnight for registration.
December 16, 2019 - Lottery Based Registration Begins. - Online Lottery Pre-Registration for new players and any returning players/siblings who did not get a spot in early registration window
January 7, 2020 - January 8, 2020 - Lottery Ticket Distribution - All players who completed the online pre-registration must pick up a lottery ticket at the Hamlin Park Fieldhouse between 6PM-8PM on one of these two nights. Lottery tickets are division specific and chances of getting into the league will vary based on the number of open spots and the number of tickets distributed. Anyone who does not get a lottery tickets will be removed from consideration for any open spots.
January 8, 2020 - Lottery Drawing - Winning lottery numbers are drawn and will be posted on the HPBA website and on the board in the Hamlin Park Fieldhouse. Includes wait listed spots in each division.
January 9, 2020 - Final In-Person Registration at Hamlin Park Fieldhouse from 7:00-9:00. All selected numbers must attend to claim their reserved place in the league. Any selected lottery number who does not attend will forfeit their spot. Anyone selected for the wait list must attend to reserve their place on the wait list. Any numbers which were not selected who would like to be added to the wait list are welcome to attend to have their name added to the wait list.
Interested players need to complete the online lottery registration between December 16, 2019 and January 5, 2020.
Failure to complete any of these steps will eliminate you from the lottery process.
HPBA will also be accepting ten registrations for Wait List positions in every division. Once all confirmed, active roster and Wait List positions have been filled, registration for a division will be closed.
