8U/9U Travel Baseball Tryouts

8U Purple Travel Baseball Team Tryout Date:  Saturday, January 20, from 8:00 - 9:00AM 
Please arrive at 7:30 am to complete all registrations by 7:50 am.  

9U Purple and 9U White Travel Baseball Team Tryout Date - Saturday, January 20, 2024 9:00 -10:30 AM 
Please arrive at 8:30 am to complete all registrations by 8:50 am.  

The alternate date for those 8U or 9U players unavailable on 1/20 is Monday, January 22, from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.

Note: Two 9U teams will be selected if we have at least 40 players tryout at this level.

ALL tryouts will take place at Intentional Sports: 1841 N. Laramie, Chicago, IL 60639

10U - 13U Travel Baseball Tryouts

The 2024 Travel Baseball Team Tryout dates and times have been finalized. All travel tryouts will be held at Hamlin Park and will provide opportunity to tryout for Purple, White, and Grey travel teams.  Also, note that there will be an alternate date for anyone who cannot attend their tryout date/time. During your tryout registration, you will have the option of only attending the primary or alternate date. Please see the Travel Program Information page for additional details on travel teams.

Players may only tryout for their age appropriate team (age as of May 1, 2024).   

10U-13U Baseball Primary Tryout Date - Saturday, July 22nd - 12:00 - 7:00 pm**
10U-13U Baseball Alternate Tryout Dates - Tuesday, July 11th or Tuesday, July 25th - Time TBD

** Depending on the division (i.e., 10U, 11U, etc.) and total number of registered players, the tryout window will consist of 1:30-2:00 hrs. Specific division tryout times will be published after the 4th of July.
 

Additional Notes for Travel Baseball Tryouts:

• All returning 2023 House and Travel Baseball players are able to tryout for our PURPLE Travel Teams.  New players to the league are not eligible for the PURPLE teams.
• All returning 2023 players AND any NEW players are able to tryout for our GREY Travel Teams.  Hence, extended invitation to tryout for non-HPBA is allowed for the GREY teams.
• We do not allow "play-ups" within the Travel Baseball Program.
• The tryout registration will end on July 7, 2023, at 11:59 PM.

10U - 16U Travel Softball Tryouts

The 2024 Travel Softball Team Tryout dates and times for 10U, 11U, 12U, 14U, and 16U have been finalized. All travel tryouts will be held at Hamlin Park and will provide opportunity to tryout and be eligible for the Purple or Grey teams.  Also, note that there will be an alternate date for anyone who cannot attend their tryout date/time. Please keep in mind that your player may tryout for her age appropriate team. Age requirements are as follows:

• 10U Purple -  This program is restricted to female participants born on or after 09/02/2012 and on or before 09/01/2013.
• 11U Purple -  This program is restricted to female participants born on or after 09/02/2011 and on or before 09/01/2012.
• 12U Purple -  This program is restricted to female participants born on or after 09/02/2010 and on or before 09/01/2011.
• 14U Grey -  This program is restricted to female participants born on or after 09/02/2008 and on or before 09/01/2010.
• 16U Grey -  This program is restricted to female participants born on or after 09/02/2006 and on or before 09/01/2008.

10U - 16U Primary Tryout Date: Sunday, July 23rd - 10:00 am - 3:00 pm**
10U - 16U Alternate Tryout Dates: Tuesday, July 11th or Thursday, July 27 - Time TBD
